WILSON

Wilson in  2010 introduces  to us the a new technology using basalt, which is used for incredible vibration resistance. It is woven with the [K]arophite graphite to create an advanced fiber. These new racquets are more precise, responsive, and consistent. This year’s entries expand the selections for every type of player from the power seeker to the tour want-to-be,  and everything in-between.
Wilson has broken down their choices into 3 categories: Game Improvement, Player Frames and All Around. Their new technology, FX is here! FX stands for Factor Multiplied and is the next generation of Wilson BLX tennis racquets. The Quad Shaft design replaces the traditional shaft of a tennis racquet to improve your control. [K] Factor frames that feature FX have been proven to provide increased torsional stability on off-center hits.
The [K]Pro Staff 88 is a racquet that was designed and developed for Pete Sampras. This was the racquet he used in the Federer Challenge matches that was painted black with no identifying graphics. The  Pro Staff 88 offers a new level of precise [K]control. This racquet is slightly larger than the original,  at 88 square inches rather than 85, but has the same feel and performance as its popular predecessor.
PLAYER FRAMES – This group of racquets is divided into 3 families; [K]Blade , the BLX Six-One , the BLX Pro , the [K]obra and the BLX Tour .
The [K]Blades are remaining in the line this year. The [K]Blade Tour is just as its name might suggest, is a small 93 square in mid, for aggressive all court players looking for a soft racquet that they can really pound shot after shot. Constructed of [K]arphite Black graphite with X Loop weave at 3 and 9 o’clock, it has a very tight string pattern for precise shots from the baseline or the net.  The [K]Blade 98 is a mid+ racquet, which is lighter than the [K]Blade Tour offering the user a bit more versatility from just about anywhere on the court. The [K]Blade Team the choice of the Williams sisters, is a 104 square inch slightly lighter and larger  version of the [K]Blade 98. It offers the player a slightly larger sweet spot and increased maneuverability.
The BLX Six-One: . Being one of the most popular racquets  of  top ranked tour  and amateur players alike, the Six One Family is for the serious hard hitter who wants to power the ball themselves. The BLX Six One Tour, Federer's new frame has BLX technology for improved feel and maneuverability. It features the same classic feel as the [K] Six One Tour. The BLX Six One 95 - 16X18 has added feel and stability. The open 16X18 string bed further enhances control and spin potential. The BLX Six One 95 - 18X20 offers exceptional stability. The 18X20 string bed heightens control and spin for the player looking for a solid, maneuverable racquet.  The BLX Six One Team is a lighter, more maneuverable versions of the SIx One 95 BLX. The 18X20 string pattern helps maintain excellent feel and control. The BLX Six One Lite is a lightweight 102 square inch racquet that is a great fit for juniors making the transition into adult frames or adults looking for the ultimate in maneuverability.

The BLX Pros:  This group adds 3 racquets to the current line the Pro Tour BLX, the Pro Open BLX, and the Pro Team FX BLX. The Pro Tour BLX  is designed for the aggressive baseliners who like to take a full, powerful stroke.  A slightly smaller, 96 square inch head, with an 18X20 string bed  delivers a firm and precise hit with added stability. The Pro Open BLX is  is a great racquet for the player who likes to hit a heavy ball with a lot of spin. This racquet is slightly lighter and larger(mid 11 ounces and 100 square inch head). It has improved feel and frame feedback with great maneuverability. The latest addition to the BLX Pro family is the BLX  Pro Team FX that makes it easier to maximize spin and speed. It offers medium power in a more forgiving frame.

The [K]obras  includes the [K]obra Tour and the [K]obra Team FX. The [K]obra Tour is another  player's frame that will remain in the 2010 line.  It is solid, accurate, and impressive. This is a racquet for the aggressive tournament player who needs plenty of power, maximum spin, and [K]ontrol. The [K]obra Team is a lighter more maneuverable racket that combines power and ultimate spin as well as being quick through the air.

GAME IMPROVEMENT
–In 2010 the  [K]Three FX, [K]Four FX  are remaining in the line  as Game Improvement models to widen the selection of choices for the player looking for that edge when it comes to weight and power. Wilson’s number system is based on less is more, meaning that the lower the racquet's number, the more power it produces.  The [K]One is now improved with FX technology and lighter weight. Loaded with all 4 [K]ey technology features of [K] Factor, the addition of FX makes the [K] One stronger and even more stable. This racquet blends maximum power with a great combination of [K]ontrol and forgiveness that will help produce explosive shots with precision. The [K]Three FX combines power and [K]omfort but with additional [K]ontrol thanks to the new FX technology. The [K ] Three FX is a forgiving, lightweight racquet that features a very comfortable feel due to the proven Triad shock dampening system. The [K]Four FX is a 107 square inch frame that is designed for the player who is beginning to use more pace and spin in their shots. It combines power, stability, maneuverability and [K]ontrol.
